The personal data of the user may be communicated to a suitable service provider contracted by the BELIS project, which will treat the data exclusively for the purposes established by BELIS project and in compliance with the instructions issued by BELIS project, strictly complying with the legal rules on data protection information security and other applicable standards, pursuant to a written agreement between the parties.

How we collect your personal data

We obtain personal data directly from individuals in a variety of ways, including the following cases:

  • an individual subscribes to our newsletter/s;
  • an individual registers to attend meetings, workshops, courses and other events we host and during attendance at such events;
  • social and professional networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn).

Subscription to our newsletters

On the website of BELIS, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our BELIS project newsletter.

BELIS project informs its subscribers regularly by means of a newsletter. The newsletter may only be received by the visitor if (1) the visitor has a valid e-mail address and (2) the visitor registers for the newsletter shipping. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address registered by a visitor for the first time for newsletter shipping. This confirmation e-mail is used to prove whether the owner of the e-mail address as the visitor is authorised to receive the newsletter.

The personal data collected, email, as well as the date and time of the registration, as part of a registration for the newsletter will only be used to send our newsletter.
